Category Manager (MRO, Europe)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid working model with 3 days on site.

Salary: Minimum 232,000 PLN gross annually, plus annual bonus and potential additional incentives.

What you will do

• Develop and execute regional MRO sourcing strategies across EMEA manufacturing plants.
• Manage categories including spare parts, laboratory and production supplies, industrial gases, filters, PPE, calibration, and maintenance services.
• Lead spend and supplier analysis, sourcing events, commercial negotiations, and supplier consolidation initiatives.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance reviews, contracts, transitions, and risk mitigation.
• Build category roadmaps, project pipelines, savings plans, and procurement performance reports.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, quality, operations, finance, and global procurement stakeholders.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, procurement, engineering, finance, operations, or business.
• At least 5 years of experience in procurement, category management, supply chain, engineering, maintenance, or a related area; manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience managing MRO categories and leading regional or multi-site sourcing initiatives with measurable savings.
• Strong supplier negotiation, contract management, analytical, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Experience with Coupa, SAP, JDE, Maximo, or similar procurement and ERP systems, plus strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Fluent English is required.

• Experience with procurement analytics tools and supplier relationship management.
