Indirect Category Buyer

What you will do

• Develop and implement category sourcing strategies for assigned indirect spend categories, including IT, professional services, facilities, marketing, travel, and HR services.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluation, selection, and commercial negotiations.
• Analyze spend and market data to identify cost reduction, value creation, supplier consolidation, and tail-spend optimization opportunities.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance while driving continuous improvement, innovation, compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Support contract lifecycle management, including negotiations, renewals, compliance tracking, and commercial risk management.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and promote effective purchasing practices.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or a related purchasing function.
• Hands-on experience managing indirect spend categories and sourcing initiatives in a corporate environment.
• Demonstrated success in supplier negotiations, contract discussions, cost reduction, or value creation programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken, is required.
• Strong analytical, sourcing, negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills, plus proficiency in procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
