What you will do

• Plan and implement global sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Identify and select suppliers focusing on quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.
• Negotiate project pricing and frame agreements with key suppliers.
• Drive cost reduction and avoidance initiatives in collaboration with engineering and product management.
• Manage relationships with both external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure supply base capability meets current and future business requirements.

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic Category/Sourcing Management or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost optimization.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems like SAP.
• Must comply with all local hirify.global employment requirements and processes.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cabinets and railway industry products.
• German language skills.
