Civil Drafter

Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia; hybrid working options available

hirify.global is a design and systems integration partner delivering major transport infrastructure projects, including Melbourne Airport Rail, level crossing removals, bridge projects, and the SRL East orbital rail network.

What you will do

• Complete civil designs and drafting work for NWPA and SRL infrastructure projects.
• Use ORD, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation design software.
• Collaborate with project supervisors, engineers, project managers, junior staff, and other drafters.
• Support accurate and aligned project deliverables across different project stages.
• Assist with the preparation of electrical design deliverables.

Requirements

• Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering design or drafting, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
• High competency in ORD design software.
• Experience delivering designs for major infrastructure projects.
• Developed design experience and knowledge of applicable design standards.
• Ability to balance practicality and innovation while producing accurate project work.

Nice to have

• Experience with MicroStation.
• Experience with 12D design software.
