Solution Consultant (Fintech)

Location: Sydney, Australia — hybrid. Candidates must have the right to work in the jurisdiction where they intend to work.

What you will do

• Lead customer discovery and solution design from initial conversations through validation and transition to implementation.
• Run workshops, proof-of-value engagements, tailored walkthroughs, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Connect payment, FX, treasury, and embedded finance capabilities to customer pain points and business outcomes.
• Guide security reviews, integration scoping, feasibility discussions, and technical proposals.
• Document solutions and provide integration guidance after workshops and trials.
• Share actionable customer and technical feedback with Product and Engineering while identifying solution extensions with Account Management and Customer Success.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in solution consulting, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical consulting within B2B SaaS or fintech.
• Ability to work with both technical buyers and commercial stakeholders, including developers, architects, CFOs, and treasury managers.
• Hands-on understanding of APIs, SDKs, and integrations.
• Proficiency with AI tools, including prompt engineering, AI-assisted documentation, and lightweight AI workflows.
• Strong customer insight, organisation, follow-through, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Right to work in the jurisdiction where the role is performed is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with cross-border payments, FX, treasury management, or embedded finance.
• Experience presenting to senior finance stakeholders or C-suite buyers.
• Experience in enterprise or mid-market B2B environments with complex, multi-stakeholder solutions.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
