Member Experience Representative 1 (Healthcare)

Location: Twin Cities metro; initial four-week training held onsite at the corporate headquarters in Bloomington, Minnesota

Salary: $19.00–$20.00 per hour

What you will do

• Guide healthcare providers by telephone and respond to questions about member benefits.
• Document correspondence, inquiries, and resolutions in detailed call logs.
• Research inquiries that cannot be resolved immediately and provide timely follow-up.
• Escalate or transfer inquiries when appropriate.
• Collaborate with Member Experience colleagues, internal business partners, vendors, and the Member Experience Manager to resolve concerns and track personal goals.
• Follow applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.

Requirements

• At least one year of customer service experience.
• Strong written, verbal, and telephone communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
• Typing speed above 55 words per minute.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability for onsite training from September 14 through October 9, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Bloomington headquarters.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor’s degree.
• Previous healthcare or insurance experience.
