Complex Injury Assistant Lawyer (Personal Injury Litigation)

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom; hybrid working with one day per week in the office.

What you will do

• Progress complex personal injury claims through all stages of litigation.
• Manage investigations and identify key liability and quantum issues.
• Review medical, liability, and quantum evidence, and interview witnesses.
• Draft legal documentation, pleadings, applications, and witness statements.
• Liaise with clients, insurers, experts, counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Attend conferences, mediations, settlement meetings, and court hearings while supporting case strategy and resolution.

Requirements

• Strong experience handling personal injury litigation matters.
• Experience acting for either claimants or defendants.
• Solicitor, CILEX professional, or experienced litigation fee earner background.
• Excellent investigation, analytical, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to take ownership, work independently, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of liability and quantum issues, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
