Complex Injury Large Loss Lawyer

Location: Hybrid, with a minimum of 1 day in the office, based in London, Southampton, Bristol, Leeds, Birmingham, Bolton, or Manchester.

What you will do

• Manage a caseload of complex multi-track personal injury claims typically valued up to £1m.
• Assist the Lead Lawyer on catastrophic injury claims exceeding £1m.
• Advise insurer clients on liability, indemnity, and quantum.
• Draft key legal documents, including defences and counter-schedules.
• Analyse complex medical and liability evidence.
• Work with clients, counsel, and medical experts, and attend mediations, JSMs, client meetings, and site visits.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor.
• Experience handling defendant personal injury claims.
• Experience managing multi-track or higher-value claims of at least £500K.
• Strong understanding of litigation practice and the Civil Procedure Rules.
• Excellent analytical and organisational skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with group litigation.
• Experience handling claims against the police.
