Actuary (Life Insurance)

What you will do

• Produce, analyze, and review quarterly statutory valuation results for life and annuity reserves.
• Contribute technical expertise on statutory reserving requirements under the NAIC Valuation Manual, particularly VM-20 and VM-22.
• Research actuarial guidance and translate complex requirements into methodologies, model specifications, and reporting processes.
• Support valuation analysis for new, complex, and cross-border reinsurance transactions.
• Develop, execute, and review modeling processes, controls, and reconciliations for accurate and timely reporting.
• Partner with Actuarial, Finance, Risk, Investments, senior management, and regulatory stakeholders on reporting and business initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or another quantitative field.
• Associate qualification from a widely recognized actuarial body; Fellow qualification preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant experience, including experience in the life insurance industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and any programming language.
• Strong attention to detail, initiative, prioritization, and project management skills.
• Excellent oral and written English language skills required.
