Finance Manager ILS, Reinsurance (Insurance)

Location: Bermuda; full-time, regular position.

hirify.global is a global risk management and reinsurance group. Mt. Logan Capital Management is its Bermuda-based insurance management company, providing insurance-linked securities exposure through special purpose and collateralized insurers.

What you will do

• Prepare and review financial statements and reporting schedules.
• Review reinsurance contracts, maintain reinsurance accounts, and prepare reinsurance analysis reports.
• Prepare bank reconciliations, cashbooks, and maintain accounting ledgers.
• Support internal and external audits, statutory reporting, and GAAP reporting.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, operational improvements, and policy and procedure updates.
• Contribute to ad hoc finance projects and duties.

Requirements

• Internationally recognized accounting designation such as ACA, CMA, CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience in financial services; reinsurance and investment management experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of the Bermuda insurance market and regulatory environment is preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn new systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, holidays, and weekends when required.
