Senior Manager, Reinsurance Accounting

hirify.global is a global risk management and reinsurance group. Mt. Logan Capital Management is its Bermuda-based insurance management subsidiary serving special purpose and collateralized insurers and offering investors exposure to insurance-linked securities.

What you will do

• Prepare and review financial statements and reporting schedules.
• Review reinsurance contracts and maintain reinsurance accounts and accounting ledgers.
• Prepare bank reconciliations, cashbooks, and reinsurance analysis reports.
• Support internal and external audits, statutory reporting, and GAAP reporting.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, operational improvements, and policy and process updates.
• Handle ad hoc finance projects and duties as required.

Requirements

• Internationally recognized accounting designation preferred, such as ACA, CMA, CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience in financial services.
• Reinsurance and investment management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the Bermuda insurance market and regulatory environment preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, analytical ability, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, holidays, and weekends when required.
