What you will do

• Prepare and review financial statements and detailed reporting schedules.
• Manage and review (re)insurance contracts and maintain corresponding accounts.
• Perform bank reconciliations, manage cashbooks, and produce reinsurance analysis reports.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, statutory reporting, and GAAP reporting processes.
• Implement operational improvements to policies, procedures, and financial processes.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

Requirements

• Must be based in Bermuda.
• Internationally recognized accounting designation (ACA, CMA, CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) preferred.
• 2+ years of post-qualification experience in Financial Services; reinsurance and investment management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the Bermuda insurance market and regulatory environment is highly preferred.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.
