Industrial Engineer III (Manufacturing)

Location: Arlington, Tennessee, USA — 100% onsite. Candidates must be authorized to work full time in the United States.

What you will do

• Develop productivity standards through data-driven analysis of people, processes, facilities, and technology.
• Apply Six Sigma and continuous improvement methods to reduce waste, improve quality, and support cost reduction.
• Evaluate facility space, capacity, layouts, workflows, staffing models, equipment usage, and production rates.
• Prepare labor cost estimates, RFP responses, presentations, and deployment plans for awarded opportunities.
• Design systems and work methods that improve productivity, throughput, safety, ergonomics, and integration of people, materials, and equipment.
• Develop labor standards using work samples, workflows, production methods, and operator techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of related experience.
• Ability to create 2-D facility layout renderings using AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of processes across multiple operations functions, including planning, scheduling, assembly, inspection, material handling, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Working knowledge of line balancing, project management, budgeting, forecasting, and RIO calculations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Ability to communicate ideas and recommendations clearly at all organizational levels and work collaboratively.
