What you will do
- Develop and improve facility, assembly-line, and lineside equipment layouts.
- Optimize component flow, material presentation, and handling standards for operators.
- Create and maintain time studies, spaghetti diagrams, work-balance studies, standardized work, and assembly-line capacity studies.
- Analyze headcount, labor efficiency, warehouse layouts, space utilization, and inbound delivery requirements.
- Maintain PFEP data and develop containerization standards across the facility.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Materials, Operations, and Program Management teams on plant goals, process changes, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or another relevant engineering field.
- Strong AutoCAD skills, especially for assembly-cell layout and manufacturing applications.
- Experience with warehouse planning, design, and material handling.
- Plant-floor experience and strong technical attention to detail.
- Strong planning, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work onsite in Toledo, Ohio, US, and work overtime when required.
Nice to have
- Experience with kitting, sequencing, and repack operations.
