Operations Specialist – Schemes (Insurance)

What you will do

• Execute product, rate, wording, and system changes across existing insurance schemes.
• Support daily operational processes, new-scheme warranties, policy-data processing, and internal and external reporting.
• Own operational risk events and coordinate associated actions for the Schemes function.
• Drive adoption of new processes, tools, and technology while minimizing disruption to business operations.
• Develop change-management plans, impact assessments, communications, training materials, and KPI tracking.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and broker partners while supporting the Head of Schemes Operations.

Requirements

• Experience in an operations, coordination, or change-focused role within insurance or a similar environment.
• Experience supporting process improvements or change initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organisational, prioritisation, communication, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, identify issues, and drive solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Experience in schemes or delegated-authority environments.
