What you will do

• Lead investment performance analytics and valuation analysis, translating complex financial drivers into executive-ready insights.
• Partner with investment and derivative accounting leadership on accurate, timely, efficient, and controlled close and financial reporting activities.
• Provide senior technical guidance on investment and derivative accounting across GAAP, Statutory, and Regulatory reporting.
• Research and document complex accounting positions and evaluate investment strategies with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support a derivative system transformation project with Derivative Accounting, Risk, Operations, IT, and third-party vendors.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, AI-enabled analytics, forecasting, reporting, and derivative system transformation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in investment and derivative accounting, investment finance, or a related field.
• 4 years of direct or indirect leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of derivatives, fixed income, structured products, GAAP, Statutory accounting, and multiple investment asset classes.
• Ability to apply critical thinking and sound judgment to complex financial issues and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience driving process improvement, technology-enabled transformation, and organizational change, with AI fluency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• CPA certification strongly preferred.
• MBA or advanced degree.
