TL;DR

What you will do
- Analyze monthly and annual financial statements and prepare detailed account reconciliations.
- Support Finance and Accounting initiatives, strategic goals, new programs, and accounting guidance implementation.
- Maintain internal controls over financial reporting, including control design, documentation, testing, and remediation.
- Prepare audit-ready reconciliations, journal entries, reporting outputs, and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Review accounting work, mentor team members, and provide cross-functional financial support.
- Identify process improvements, control gaps, and accounting or compliance risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of corporate finance, corporate accounting, and/or public accounting experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting research.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to communicate accounting concepts clearly, review work, mentor colleagues, and collaborate across functions.
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
Nice to have
- CPA, MBA, or another relevant advanced degree or certification.
- Experience in banking or a regulated financial institution.
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting, FFIEC call reports, bank compliance frameworks, intercompany accounting, or regulatory audits.
