Senior Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Manager (Technology)

What you will do

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing and category strategies for software, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, AWS, Oracle, IT services, staff augmentation, and managed services.
• Lead sourcing initiatives from market assessment and RFx development through supplier evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and implementation.
• Negotiate agreements, pricing, commercial terms, and service levels in partnership with Legal, Finance, IT, Human Capital, and other stakeholders.
• Build supplier relationships and establish vendor governance using KPIs, SLAs, business reviews, performance management, and continuous improvement.
• Analyze spend, market dynamics, supplier capabilities, and emerging technologies to identify optimization opportunities and advise senior stakeholders.
• Use AI, automation, analytics, and procurement technology to improve workflows and strengthen sourcing insights.

Requirements

• 6+ years of procurement and strategic sourcing experience covering IT software, SaaS, software licensing, cloud services, IT services, or professional services.
• Proven experience leading complex sourcing initiatives, including scopes of work, RFx processes, supplier evaluation, negotiations, contracting, and value delivery.
• Strong judgment, negotiation, analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience influencing senior executives, including CIO, CTO, and COO, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, PaaS, SaaS, software licensing, and technology procurement models.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Levelpath, Oracle E-Business Suite, DocuSign, or similar sourcing and contract-management software.
• AI fluency and experience using Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools for research, analysis, contract review, or workflow efficiency.
• Advanced degree.
