Director, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

Location: Hybrid, with three days per week onsite in the San Francisco office

Salary: $235,000–$255,000 annual base compensation, plus equity; benefits are not included.

What you will do

• Establish hirify.global’s procurement function, including its operating model, policies, thresholds, and decision rights.
• Build and lead the procurement team, beginning with hiring and developing a Procurement Operations Manager.
• Own negotiations for major infrastructure, B2B SaaS, agency, and professional-services agreements.
• Deliver a hard savings target using a methodology agreed with FP&A.
• Implement renewal calendars, negotiation playbooks, benchmarking practices, and escalation criteria.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, IT, and Security on contracting, budgets, savings validation, vendor reviews, and rationalization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building procurement or strategic sourcing functions.
• Substantial experience negotiating enterprise B2B SaaS and technology agreements with measurable, Finance-validated commercial improvements.
• Experience hiring, developing, and retaining people.
• Ability to translate spend data into a commercial narrative for executive audiences.
• Experience with public-company or pre-IPO purchasing controls, segregation of duties, and audit requirements.
• Confidence using modern tools and systems such as Zip, Ironclad, Slack, Notion, and AI.
