Data Center Sourcing Manager (AI)

Location: Remote-friendly within the United States, with at least 25% office attendance required

Annual salary: $320,000–$405,000 USD

What you will do

• Own end-to-end strategic sourcing for CPUs, DRAM, HBM, and other silicon used across data center platforms.
• Secure allocation and capacity commitments while negotiating long-term supply, pricing, and capacity agreements.
• Manage supplier scorecards, allocation tracking, roadmap alignment, and quarterly business reviews.
• Monitor foundry and advanced-packaging capacity, memory pricing cycles, and vendor roadmaps to develop sourcing strategies, qualified alternates, and cost targets.
• Resolve supply issues and lead-time risks with engineering, finance, deployment operations, vendors, OEMs, ODMs, and integrators.
• Build Claude-powered workflows for vendor benchmarking, requests for quotes, contract analysis, cost modeling, and reporting.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain operations across multiple hardware categories.
• Experience managing supplier performance, lead times, fulfillment escalations, and ambiguous operational problems.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority and communicate clearly in writing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work from the United States and attend an office at least 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain operations, or hardware program management.
• 5+ years of experience sourcing data center hardware at scale.
• Experience with purchase order management, supplier scorecards, S&OP, lead-time modeling, and expedites.
• Familiarity with compute, networking, racks, cabling, CDUs, and other data center infrastructure.
• Experience working with OEMs, ODMs, integrators, and service providers across multiple hardware categories.
