What you will do

• Operate and troubleshoot automation methods on standalone and integrated systems, including Hamilton, Opentrons, and HighRes.
• Support off-the-shelf laboratory devices such as dispensers, plate readers and washers, and ODTCs.
• Review reservation calendars with senior colleagues and resolve potential system scheduling conflicts.
• Coordinate sample drop-offs and laboratory logistics with researchers.
• Perform vendor-recommended instrument maintenance and maintain laboratory housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• Work onsite in Tarrytown, New York, United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in life science or a related field.
• 0–2 years of industry experience working with automation systems in a laboratory environment.
• Ability to work independently on defined tasks and small projects with senior guidance.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional scientific and engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience operating liquid-handling instruments such as Hamilton STAR.
• Knowledge of integrated laboratory automation systems.
• Internship experience or knowledge of molecular biology, flow cytometry, genomic, or cell-based assays.
