What you will do

• Develop scalable and robust engineering processes for small molecule APIs, antibody drug conjugates, peptides, and natural products.
• Assess unit operations such as reactions and crystallizations for process robustness, scientific understanding, and scale-up risks.
• Design experiments, analyze multidisciplinary data, formulate conclusions, and define follow-up studies.
• Perform laboratory experimentation, pilot plant activities, and manufacturing support with minimal supervision.
• Investigate and troubleshoot product failures and recommend remediation strategies.
• Author technical reports, regulatory documents, publications, presentations, and patents while mentoring engineers and collaborating cross-functionally.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in chemical engineering or a related field.
• Relevant industrial experience: 10+ years with a BS, 8+ years with an MS, or 0+ years with a PhD.
• Thorough theoretical and practical understanding of the relevant scientific discipline.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Working knowledge of chemical kinetics, transport phenomena, thermodynamics, and mathematical modeling.
• Ability to follow safety, controlled-substance, radioactive-material, and GxP requirements.
