Operations Associate (Biotechnology)

Location: Onsite in Raritan, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $59,168–$77,658 USD base pay per year, plus performance-based bonus and/or equity for eligible roles.

What you will do

• Perform manufacturing and manufacturing-support procedures for autologous CAR-T products in a controlled cGMP cleanroom.
• Execute cell culturing, purification, aseptic processing, cryopreservation, and other unit operations according to SOPs and batch records.
• Record production data accurately in SOPs, logbooks, and other GMP documentation.
• Support manufacturing process development, investigations, audit preparation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain material availability, clean and safe work areas, and compliance with quality and safety requirements.
• Work on a scheduled shift in a cross-functional, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and complete Form I-9 and E-Verify requirements.
• High school diploma with 3–5 years of biotechnology or pharmaceutical experience; or an associate degree in life sciences or manufacturing with 2–3 years of related experience; or a bachelor's degree in life sciences with 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, laboratory equipment, routine and non-routine testing, sampling methods, and process excellence tools.
• Ability to follow written, oral, diagrammatic, and scheduled instructions and solve practical problems.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, gown for manufacturing work, and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to handle biological materials and hazardous chemicals and work in containment areas while using appropriate PPE.
