Facilities Technician (Medical Devices)

Location: Pawtucket, Rhode Island, United States; onsite

Hourly pay: $25.00–$30.00

What you will do

• Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, repairs, installations, and replacements for building equipment and systems.
• Document maintenance activities using a work order system and evaluate equipment performance.
• Respond to unscheduled, emergency, on-call, and after-hours facility situations, including floods, roof leaks, and storm emergencies.
• Assist external service providers and contractors with building equipment and systems.
• Maintain spare-parts inventory and order supplies and materials for routine operations.
• Travel between ZOLL sites and support special facility projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five years of experience in a similar facilities role.
• Working knowledge of building repairs and safe, efficient use of power and hand tools.
• Experience with the JCI Metasys building management system.
• Experience with computers, Microsoft Office, CMMS, BMC, or BAS.
• Ability to work independently, climb ladders, bend, reach, lift up to 50 pounds independently, carry a phone, and participate in on-call support; a valid driver's license is required.

• Training or experience repairing, operating, and troubleshooting HVAC equipment.
