Technician II-2nd Shift (Medical Devices)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA; onsite

Hourly pay: $21.00–$26.00

Develops medical devices, software, and related services for diagnosing and treating serious cardiopulmonary and respiratory conditions, including wearable defibrillators and heart failure monitoring systems.

What you will do

• Evaluate, functionally test, troubleshoot, and service new and used medical devices.
• Analyze and test devices, components, and subassemblies for functionality and quality.
• Perform complex and non-routine test procedures.
• Isolate and debug circuits and assemblies.
• Record and analyze test data and prepare reports.
• Work with engineering to solve complex problems while operating oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, and test fixtures.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree, or 3–5 years of equivalent work experience and troubleshooting skills.
• Training and sign-off on at least two Advanced Lines, such as Advanced Monitors, Advanced Belts, or Advanced Chargers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking ability.
• Ability to meet the physical demands and working conditions of onsite device service work, including constant standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion.
