Quality Specialist (Supplier Quality)

What you will do

• Own and manage the Total Quality Management process for product suppliers across Asia Pacific and multiple business units.
• Define, deploy, and harmonize quality work processes with business-unit quality teams and suppliers.
• Lead new supplier assessments, regular supplier audits, product risk assessments, production process validation, and pre-shipment inspections.
• Monitor supplier quality KPIs, identify development needs, and drive continuous improvement and corrective actions.
• Lead production and field quality incident analysis and resolution using root cause analysis, 8D, and SCAR.
• Manage and develop the APO QE and QC team while providing quality training to suppliers and internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or industrial engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• More than 8 years of relevant quality or engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a management role.
• Strong experience in supplier quality management and development, including successful supplier turnaround projects.
• Experience with electrical appliances, electronics, or consumer products and international brands.
• Knowledge of quality standards and tools including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 17025, TS 16949, GMP, APQP, FMEA, Lean, 8D, and Six Sigma.
• Fluent English and Chinese communication skills required.
