Supplier Quality Engineer

Location: Lê Minh Châu, Tỉnh Sóc Trăng, Vietnam; frequent local travel and stays at supplier factories for several days to several weeks are required.

What you will do

• Develop, qualify, and monitor suppliers’ quality management systems.
• Assess supplier readiness for regulatory, legislative, and sustainability requirements.
• Lead or support problem-solving and root-cause investigations with suppliers.
• Track supplier quality KPIs and determine prompt corrective actions.
• Train suppliers on updated procedures and requirements and monitor implementation.

Requirements

• University or technical college degree in industrial engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Good knowledge of quality management systems and manufacturing processes.
• Presentation, decision-making, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Availability for frequent local travel and extended stays at supplier factories.

Nice to have

• Experience in the toy, household product, or consumer goods industry.
• Experience with injection molding or plastics.
• Basic Mandarin speaking ability.
