Piping Material Engineer (Offshore/FPSO)

Location: Singapore, Singapore

What you will do

• Develop piping material specifications for project requirements.
• Perform pipe wall thickness calculations, piping stress computer analysis, flange leak calculations, and piping material take-offs.
• Review equipment and piping layouts, including piping support designs.
• Review piping bulk, valve, and specialty item MTOs, RFQs, TBEs, and POs.
• Review and approve supplier documents and drawings.
• Provide piping material and engineering support from concept and FEED through procurement, fabrication, testing, installation, commissioning, and start-up.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Exposure to piping stress checks and piping support design.
• At least 2 years of relevant engineering experience in a consultancy environment.
• Experience in piping material engineering for offshore platforms, FPSO projects, or similar facilities.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated approach to learning and advanced computer skills.
