What you will do

• Manage pre-litigated motor claims up to £25,000, including high-value and complex matters, from inception to settlement.
• Manage litigated motor claims up to £10,000.
• Identify cases suitable for early litigation based on prospects of success and risk.
• Maintain accurate claims data and deliver consistent service and productivity.
• Communicate with clients and collaborate with colleagues.
• Mentor and train team members while acting as a technical referral point.

Requirements

• Essential experience handling pre-litigated ULR road traffic accident claims.
• Experience across the full claims cycle, including quantum assessment, liability investigation, and settlement negotiation.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
• Customer service, negotiation, communication, organisation, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to mentor and support new starters.
• Qualified solicitor or CILEX professional with the necessary practice rights; CILEX Lawyers will also be considered.

Nice to have

• Litigated claims-handling experience.
• Knowledge of loss of use and loss of standing charge claims.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
