Software Engineer III (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid role with primary in-office presence at the J Street office in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $90,000–$180,000 annual base salary, plus performance bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Design and develop technical solutions for small to large software projects in collaboration with product management, UX, and engineering teams.
• Build, test, maintain, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-quality software components.
• Troubleshoot production and business issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Lead small engineering groups through technical guidance, documentation, and delivery support.
• Implement automation scripts and telemetry to improve continuous integration and deployment.
• Monitor application performance, handle maintenance, evaluate change requests, and support users with technical solutions.

Requirements

• Experience designing, developing, and delivering software in Agile environments.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills and proficiency in one or more of Java, React, JavaScript, Node, Python, or C#.
• Experience debugging and resolving complex production issues through root cause analysis.
• Ability to create and execute test cases, including automation and regression testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, documentation-based coding, and requirements traceability matrices.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus 2 years of software engineering experience, or 4 years of relevant experience. Immigration sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
