Software Engineer (Autonomy Services (Java))

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain backend RESTful API services using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Develop secure and scalable platform capabilities hosted on AWS throughout the full lifecycle from design to operations.
• Analyze root causes of complex technical problems and implement high-quality, maintainable solutions.
• Accelerate implementation, testing, and debugging using AI-assisted development tools and software engineering agents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to refine requirements and deliver incremental business value.
• Contribute to front-end or Python-related tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering proficiency with Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience building and deploying secure, scalable services in cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
• Knowledge of AI-assisted and agentic software development workflows.
• Ability to validate and refine AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance.
• Must be based in Irving, TX (Dallas).
• Must have valid US work authorization (visa sponsorship is not available).

Nice to have

• Experience building production AI agents using Python.
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
• Knowledge of LLM integration with external tools, APIs, and retrieval systems.
• Experience designing evals, guardrails, and monitoring for agent reliability.
• MLOps or model deployment experience.
