AI and Automation Analyst (AI)

Location: UK remote; UK only, with up to 50% travel required. Office location: Birmingham, UK.

What you will do

• Configure, test, deploy, and optimize AI-driven tools for healthcare IT operations.
• Develop AI-powered workflows that improve productivity, consistency, and project delivery quality.
• Create and maintain prompt libraries, AI guidance materials, cheat sheets, and best-practice documentation.
• Research emerging AI technologies and assess their practical value for Professional Services.
• Support AI adoption by explaining automation solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Track efficiency gains, time savings, reporting, governance, and project administration activities.

Requirements

• Practical professional experience with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar large language model platforms.
• Experience with automation platforms, workflow tools, APIs, integrations, and data flows.
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering and reliable AI outputs.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technology-enabled outcomes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Full right to work in the UK is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Python or other scripting skills.
• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation, AI agents, and emerging AI technologies.
• Experience with technology adoption, change initiatives, Professional Services, healthcare IT, or NHS projects.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and PMO practices.
• Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
