Principal Forward Deployed Engineer (AI) (AI/ML, LLMs, and enterprise integrations): Designing, deploying, and improving AI-powered solutions tailored to customer needs with an accent on generative AI, agent-based frameworks, APIs, and production-scale systems. Location: Remote, United Kingdom; the role is associated with the London engineering organization.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML-powered solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Build enterprise application integrations using Python, JavaScript, APIs, microservices, and agent-based platforms.
- Analyze complex datasets and use insights to guide product direction and business outcomes.
- Deploy AI solutions into production and manage continuous evaluation, monitoring, and improvement.
- Address AI risk assessment, GDPR-related data privacy, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Mentor engineers and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of backend software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience delivering AI/ML solutions in production, including founding or forward-deployed engineering experience in 0-to-1 product development.
- Deep expertise in applied AI/ML, generative AI, LLMs, and agent-based frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages, with experience in APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration.
- Ability to work remotely from the United Kingdom, with experience solving ambiguous problems and influencing cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with Intelligence, Rovo AI, or AI-powered features.
- Familiarity with regulated industries such as finance or healthcare.
- Experience deploying AI solutions to complex production systems at scale.
- Prior experience mentoring or leading engineering teams.
