AI Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Build cost observability and usage-tracking tools for LLM and agent workloads.
• Design and ship internal tooling and guardrails to support safe agentic coding workflows.
• Evaluate new AI tools, models, and vendors to provide build-vs-buy recommendations.
• Write production-quality code and maintain automated tests for internal platforms.
• Own project delivery end-to-end, from scoping to production rollout.
• Establish and socialize best practices for AI usage across the business.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from London, UK.
• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven track record of owning and shipping mid-sized features or projects end-to-end.
• Experience building distributed data systems and measuring impact with metrics.
• Strong testing discipline and experience improving CI/CD or developer tooling.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM/agentic tooling.
• Background in AI cost observability.
