Principal Product Manager (AI)

Location: Onsite at the Bentonville Home Office, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $110,000–$220,000 annual base salary, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation.

Walmart is building an AI-powered global talent ecosystem covering attraction, hiring, onboarding, learning, internal mobility, and talent planning.

What you will do

• Set the global product strategy and roadmap for Talent Attraction and Candidate Engagement across connected platforms.
• Shape the end-to-end candidate journey using customer insights, data, experimentation, and market trends.
• Lead multi-agent candidate strategies and AI-powered engagement across web, SMS, email, conversational AI, and third-party platforms.
• Own the Enterprise Assessment Platform strategy and develop scalable assessment capabilities.
• Scale reusable solutions across Walmart US, Sam’s Club, and international markets while defining portfolio KPIs.
• Lead build, buy, and partner decisions; influence executives and mentor product managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field plus 9 years of product management experience, or 11 years of product management or related experience.
• Experience setting product strategy for complex, enterprise-scale platforms or ecosystems.
• Experience leading AI, digital, marketplace, hiring, or consumer-facing products at scale.
• Strong customer, technical, platform, KPI, and business-outcome orientation.
• Ability to influence senior leaders, align cross-functional teams, navigate ambiguity, and mentor product talent.
• Must work from the Bentonville, Arkansas home office in the United States.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related area.
• Experience with consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products and supervisory responsibilities.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
