What you will do
- Operate and program Zeiss GOM Scanbox equipment and coordinate measuring machines for dimensional inspection.
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of components and assemblies.
- Produce, analyse, and communicate dimensional inspection reports using Zeiss Calypso, Zeiss Inspect, and related metrology software.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Maintain inspection equipment, records, and documentation in line with calibration and quality system requirements.
- Improve inspection programs, fixtures, measurement processes, and continuous improvement initiatives across quality and manufacturing functions.
Requirements
- Experience programming GOM Scanbox equipment.
- Experience programming Zeiss Calypso.
- Good communication skills and the ability to support production and engineering teams.
- NVQ Level 3, an indentured apprenticeship, or relevant time-served apprenticeship.
- Ability to work with limited supervision, prioritise workloads, and make sound technical decisions within established procedures.
