Salary: Up to $46/hr (W2, non-benefited).

What you will do

• Conduct dimensional inspections using laser trackers, Faro arms, and high-volume scanners.
• Generate detailed inspection reports for Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality departments.
• Perform laser inspections for new design installations and design changes.
• Interface with Design Engineering, Program Management, and Manufacturing to address product issues.
• Create and deliver quality inspection plans to internal and external customers.
• Review inspection data to assist in the development of preventative action plans.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Intermediate knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience using PolyWorks software.
• Proficiency with portable CMM, laser trackers, and high-volume scanners (e.g., Surphaser).
• 4-year technical degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Ability to work the second shift (3:15pm to 1:45am).

Nice to have

• Engineering experience in a defense environment.
• Knowledge of military and commercial design standards.
• Familiarity with mechanical design and assembly processes.
• Experience with PTC Creo or SolidWorks.
