AI Sales Engineer - South East Asia (Enterprise AI): Designing and delivering enterprise AI demonstrations, workshops, proof-of-concept engagements, and architectural guidance with an accent on large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, and AI workflow orchestration. Focus on building reusable demonstration assets, guiding customer architectures, and translating complex AI solutions into business outcomes across APJ markets.
Location: Hybrid in Singapore or Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

What you will do
- Act as the regional AI specialist for Asia Pacific and Japan.
- Deliver enterprise AI demonstrations, technical workshops, proof-of-concept engagements, and architectural guidance.
- Support Enterprise and Growth sales teams across APJ on strategic AI-led opportunities.
- Build reusable demonstrations, technical assets, enablement programs, and best-practice documentation.
- Partner with Customer Solution Architects, Sales Engineers, Product Specialists, account teams, and global AI Product Management and Engineering organizations.
- Provide field feedback and contribute to AI roadmap priorities and customer outcomes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in presales, solution architecture, AI engineering, data engineering, or a related customer-facing technical role.
- Experience leading enterprise AI proof-of-concept engagements from design through delivery and business outcome.
- Hands-on expertise with large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, and AI workflow orchestration.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, including developing and presenting live demonstrations.
- Knowledge of AI Studio, vector databases, enterprise AI architectures, LangChain or LlamaIndex, data governance, performance optimization, and large-scale analytics platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of competitive AI and data platforms such as Snowflake Cortex, Databricks Mosaic AI, Google Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI Service, Cloudera, IBM, and open-source AI ecosystems.
- Experience with AI use cases in financial services, retail, manufacturing, supply chain, public sector, or government.
- Experience supporting stakeholders across diverse geographies and cultures.
