TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (AI Product Development) (Applied AI): Building scalable AI-enabled digital products, including RAG systems, intelligent automation workflows, web applications, and data processing pipelines with an accent on AI integration, backend services, and intuitive user interfaces. Focus on designing interoperable architectures, integrating emerging AI technologies, and developing robust systems that support information discovery and decision-support.
Location: Singapore, Singapore; on-site. Only Singapore Citizens will be considered.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-enabled digital products integrating retrieval, generation, and reasoning capabilities.
- Build RAG systems, intelligent automation workflows, web applications, and supporting data-processing pipelines.
- Scout, evaluate, and integrate emerging AI technologies, APIs, and frameworks into real-world applications.
- Collaborate with analysts, AI engineers, data scientists, designers, and product managers to translate organisational needs into technical solutions.
- Prototype rapidly while maintaining robust, secure, interoperable, and sustainable engineering standards.
- Contribute to technical strategy and drive AI technology adoption across products.
Requirements
- Degree or background in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages, including backend service development.
- Experience integrating AI models, APIs, or frameworks such as Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI API, or open-source AI models.
- Frontend development experience with React or similar frameworks.
- Understanding of system architecture, scalable service development, relational databases, vector stores, or search engines.
- Hands-on experience with Git CI/CD, Docker, and cloud environments, plus strong analytical and collaborative skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with RAG systems, semantic search, knowledge graphs, or AI evaluation.
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Neo4j, or similar search and graph databases.
- Leadership experience in guiding technical teams or driving AI technology adoption.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum.
