Assistant Manager - Security (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Manage site physical security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion alarm systems, perimeter security, fire safety, and building management systems.
• Coordinate internal and external security vendors, including quotations, deployments, maintenance, breakdown response, and service restoration.
• Lead daily security operations, visitor and staff access management, reception security, shipment coordination, documentation, and asset inventory.
• Conduct security risk assessments, internal audits, certification audit support, incident analysis, root-cause analysis, change management, and closure tracking.
• Support information security incident response, including virus events, SIEM tracking, VAPT activities, and coordination with internal and external teams.
• Conduct security awareness training, emergency drills, simulations, and disaster management while supporting the Security Head with compliance and process improvements.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of total experience, including at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, such as BE, B.Tech, MBA, or equivalent, in IT, IT security, or a related field.
• Mandatory knowledge of physical security and safety systems, including access control, CCTV, intrusion systems, fire alarm and suppression systems, emergency procedures, and building management systems.
• Knowledge of logical security systems, including firewalls, network security, endpoint security, SIEM, system security, and logical security best practices.
• Knowledge of PCI, ISO 27001, ISMS, cybersecurity audit standards, risk management, and security incident management.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, coordination, teamwork, and MS Office reporting skills.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, CEH, CCNA, or CISM.
• Additional security diplomas or certifications.
• Experience conducting user awareness training, firefighting drills, safety training, and emergency exercises.
