Security Engineer

What you will do

• Lead security reviews, threat analyses, and risk assessments across infrastructure, cloud, and workplace platforms.
• Design and improve security monitoring, detection, and response capabilities, including control-effectiveness metrics.
• Improve IAM, system hardening, SIEM, IDS/IPS/XDR, and other security infrastructure and configurations.
• Oversee vulnerability management, patching, and secure configuration processes using risk-based prioritisation.
• Conduct complex incident response and forensic investigations, coordinating with cross-functional teams and embedding lessons learned.
• Improve security processes, policies, SOC playbooks, and secure-by-design practices while advising senior stakeholders and innovation programmes.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering and operations.
• Hands-on expertise with SIEM, detection and response, IAM, hardening, vulnerability management, and remediation governance.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, cloud, workplace security architectures, and security operations.
• Knowledge of network protocols, identity technologies, and Active Directory.
• Professional English proficiency required.
• Ability to translate technical risk into business-relevant guidance and communicate confidently with senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Recognized security certifications or a clear ambition to obtain them.
• Scripting and automation skills.
• Experience or strong interest in AI or machine-learning applications for security operations, detection engineering, vulnerability analysis, or automation.
• Additional European languages.

Hiring process
