What you will do

• Translate raw event streams and product data schemas into warehouse models that provide a single source of truth for key metrics.
• Build and maintain governed dbt models, data marts, metrics, and reusable datasets in Snowflake.
• Develop dimensional models and OBT designs to balance warehouse performance with BI accessibility.
• Own the Looker semantic layer and establish maintainable definitions for metrics and dashboards.
• Design testing, monitoring, alerting, audit logging, and reconciliation frameworks for reliable analytics data.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, and Compliance to create audit-ready datasets and prepare high-quality context for AI agents.

Requirements

• Expert SQL skills and experience writing performant code in Snowflake.
• Proven experience building and scaling dbt pipelines, including incremental loading, macros, and late-arriving data.
• Experience developing complex semantic layers in Looker.
• Practical experience with event-driven and time-series data modeling.
• Expertise in dimensional modeling, Star Schemas, OBT designs, Slowly Changing Dimensions, and schema evolution.
• Experience in Finance, Insurance, or FinTech, with a strong focus on data integrity, reconciliation, and technical communication.
