Fleet Manager (Defence Logistics)

What you will do

• Lead and support logistics and fleet management activities across complex Defence programs.
• Analyse logistics data and develop plans to improve supply chain, inventory, and distribution performance.
• Coordinate monthly reporting in line with customer timeframes and support governance, assurance, compliance, and workforce management activities.
• Build relationships with Defence stakeholders, industry partners, customers, and internal teams.
• Review technical, contractual, and operational information to identify provisioning, maintenance, and support requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement, monitor delivery objectives, and mentor team members while maintaining focus on quality, safety, risk management, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Certificate IV in Materiel Logistics or equivalent qualifications and/or relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Integrated Logistics Support, logistics engineering, or a related logistics discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting Defence or a comparable technical industry.
• Strong knowledge of Defence logistics management systems, including MILIS, LNIDs, NAVALLOW, APLCRATES, and/or AMPS.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or supervising personnel, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. AGSVA security clearance and compliance with ITAR are required.
