Compliance Engineer – Machine Safety, Lund

Location: Onsite at the headquarters in Lund, Sweden

What you will do

• Lead compliance activities for production systems, machinery, and automation lines under the Machinery Regulation (EU 2023/1230) and relevant safety standards.
• Support development projects with risk assessments and verification of safety functions and required performance levels.
• Coordinate compliance activities related to LVD, EMC, RoHS, and the Cyber Resilience Act in industrial automation.
• Provide practical regulatory guidance to design and automation engineers while keeping processes aligned with current standards.
• Maintain Technical Construction Files, including risk assessments, test reports, declarations of conformity, and safety documentation.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in mechanical, mechatronics, automation, or electronics engineering, or equivalent knowledge.
• Solid experience with compliance for complex production machinery, including risk assessments, safety functions, and CE marking.
• In-depth knowledge of machine safety standards and good working knowledge of the Machinery Regulation.
• Fluent English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in product development.
• Working knowledge of SISTEMA or similar tools.
• Understanding of software applications and control systems for production machines.
• Proficiency in Swedish.
