Health, Safety & Environmental Specialist (Aerospace)

Location: Kiruna, Norrbotten, Sweden. Relocation support is available, including a relocation bonus and subsidized temporary housing.

What you will do

• Implement and monitor compliance with local HSE regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and workplace hazard mitigation.
• Develop, deliver, and evaluate HSE training and awareness programs for employees.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and response activities on site.
• Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve safety and environmental performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or completed apprenticeship in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience in HSE, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or aerospace environments.
• Knowledge of local HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Experience with risk assessments, site inspections, incident investigations, HSE documentation, and reporting.
• Strong communication, training, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English and substantial Swedish language skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, high-tech, or startup environments.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or other HSE management systems.
