Corporate EHS Specialist (Chemical Industry)

Location: Must be based in Sweden (preferably Gothenburg, Helsingborg, Malmö, or Stockholm), with a valid driving license and willingness to travel 20–30% across the Nordics.

What you will do

• Drive implementation of EHS standards and continuous improvement initiatives across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland.
• Perform risk assessments, site inspections, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) at customer sites.
• Lead incident reporting, investigations, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Deliver practical EHS training and coaching to field teams to ensure chemical safety and hazard identification.
• Act as a trusted advisor on safety, compliance, and risk management for commercial and operational teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Safety Engineering.
• Relevant EHS certification (e.g., NEBOSH or equivalent) aligned with Swedish requirements.
• 3–5 years of EHS experience in industrial, manufacturing, or chemical environments.
• Fluent Swedish and English.
• Based in Sweden with a valid driving license recognized in Sweden.
