Senior Mechatronic Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain machine and functional system architectures.
• Design, integrate, and support embedded control systems and machine communication networks.
• Drive mechanical development using modern 3D CAD tools.
• Support system modeling, controls engineering, and simulation with MATLAB/Simulink.
• Collect and analyze telemetry data, evaluate physical performance, and participate in testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to functional safety activities, risk assessments, system compliance, and cross-functional engineering collaboration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical, mechatronic, or heavy-equipment product engineering.
• Ability to independently lead complex technical assignments and drive solutions.
• Experience with machine or system architecture, embedded control systems, CAN bus or similar industrial networks, functional safety, CAD-based mechanical design, MATLAB/Simulink, data analysis, physical testing, and system validation.
• Professional fluency in English and Swedish is required.
• Analytical, structured, solution-oriented, proactive, and collaborative approach.
• Comfort working hands-on with practical engineering challenges in workshops and testing environments.
