Software Engineer - Java (Spring Boot)

What you will do

• Collaborate with application developers, product operations, and architects to translate complex product requirements into automated solutions.
• Build Spring Boot and Spring Batch applications integrating relational databases, AWS services, and REST APIs.
• Develop Java-based applications with open-source technologies in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.
• Create unit and integration tests, deployment scripts, and design documentation; review project artifacts.
• Contribute to improvements in user interfaces, software architecture, coding standards, and technology choices.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of software development experience using Java technology.
• 2+ years of experience with Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle, including stored procedures and materialized views.
• Experience with ETLs, job schedulers, batching or streaming data, and the creation or consumption of RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of OOP, design principles, distributed systems, security best practices, and Git or a similar repository management tool.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field, plus strong communication and prioritization skills.
