Staff Engineer (Java)

What you will do

• Drive the design and development of Core Platform features for a large-scale master data management platform.
• Work with product managers to shape roadmaps, goals, and KPIs.
• Lead technical execution, influence architecture, and present new initiatives to the global architecture forum.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, documentation, and other cross-functional teams to deliver tested, deployable, and well-documented features.
• Champion engineering excellence through code coverage, coding standards, and review processes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in computer science or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, software design, and large distributed systems.
• 8+ years of experience designing and developing products for enterprise customers.
• 4+ years of experience building large-scale distributed data systems with Java and cloud technologies.
• Experience building services on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including hands-on experience with managed cloud databases.
• Experience leading engineering projects, providing technical mentorship, and delivering functionality from conception through customer adoption.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cassandra, SQS, Kubernetes, big data technologies, or cloud security principles.
• Experience driving customer focus for SaaS products.
