Senior Field Specialist - Data Platform

What you will do

• Design and present data platform solution architectures and business outcomes to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Support customer PoCs, solution sizing, sales-cycle engagements, and adoption of new and existing platform deployments across EMEA.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and lead escalations to ensure customer success.
• Develop technical enablement materials, explore new technologies, and share platform best practices.
• Translate customer feedback and EMEA-specific requirements into actionable input for product and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering while contributing to community activities and technical knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Experience leading and implementing mission-critical enterprise data use cases in industries such as financial services, retail, healthcare, or the public sector.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying enterprise-grade platforms using Kubernetes, on-premises object stores, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, OpenStack, Ceph, Apache Ozone, and related platform technologies.
• Strong background in architecting production data platform deployments across infrastructure, security, networking, governance, and complex enterprise environments.
• Experience delivering PoCs and MVPs that progress to production, analyzing customer workloads, and defining technical migration roadmaps.
• Exceptional presentation skills and confidence engaging engineers, executives, and other stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Pre-sales or technical consulting experience focused on big data and AI platforms.
• Experience with Red Hat OpenStack, OpenShift, Ansible Automation, open-source development practices, or relevant certifications such as CKA.
• Familiarity with hirify.global AI/CML, CDP Data Services, SDX, Apache Spark, Airflow, Impala, and GPU-accelerated computing.
