Hardware Electronics Engineer (FPGA)

Location: Full-time onsite in Richardson, Texas, USA; willingness to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally.

Salary: $90,750–$133,100 per year.

What you will do

• Design and develop FPGA solutions for audio and video products.
• Lead FPGA design and architecture decisions as a subject matter expert.
• Manage assigned engineering tasks and schedules while following FPGA development standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to bring AV products to market.
• Provide technical support to engineers and technical support personnel.
• Maintain and support existing products.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of Verilog HDL programming experience.
• Experience with Altera and AMD (Xilinx) FPGA device families.
• Familiarity with high-speed SERDES, DDR3/DDR4 memory interfaces, and embedded processors such as Xilinx Zynq SoC and Altera SoC devices.
• Ability to testbench and simulate RTL code.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Questa Simulator experience.
• Script-driven FPGA build processes.
• Schematic capture and printed circuit board design.
• Linux experience.
• Audio/video or AVB over Ethernet network experience.
