Sr Manager, Engineering - DevOps

What you will do

• Lead a team of DevOps engineers and provide mentorship while promoting engineering best practices.
• Manage and optimize infrastructure and services supporting hirify.global cloud offerings, including MDM, RIQ, and RDM.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions with Terraform and Helm Charts across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize DevOps platforms, cloud performance, reliability, availability, and costs.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automate scalability, capacity management, cost optimization, and elasticity.
• Collaborate with product, development, InfoSec, and other stakeholders to align platform priorities and integrate security controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of experience in DevOps engineering or a similar role, including software development and infrastructure operations.
• 3–5 years of experience leading teams in a DevOps or related technical environment.
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, plus Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or ArgoCD.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, process improvement, and cloud security skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
